About Koover

Hi, I’m Koover—a passionate adventure photographer specializing in capturing the beauty of mountains, rivers, seas, and the people drawn to them. With skills in skiing, river surfing, mountaineering, climbing, and backcountry exploration, I bring creativity and technical expertise to every project, ensuring I’m ready for even the most challenging environments.

 

My journey with photography began at age 11 when my family moved from Victoria, BC, to East Java, Indonesia. My first camera helped me connect with my new surroundings and sparked a lifelong passion for storytelling through images.

 

Today, I combine my love for exploration with photography to tell compelling stories in wild and remote landscapes. I am currently based in Whistler, BC, where I work and play in the Sea to Sky region and beyond. Whether it’s high-stakes mountain adventures, action-packed moments on the river, or the quiet beauty of a remote landscape, I’m here to help bring your vision to life.
